More Than a Meal | The Weekend Lunch program has served the needs of downtown Macon since the mid-1990s. What started as an opportunity to help feed the homeless, hungry, and less fortunate in a safe and enjoyable environment has since grown into a program that delivers far more than a meal to our community.
BACKPACK BUDDIES MINISTRY
The BackPack Buddies Ministry began in February of 2011 with 9 students from Lane Elementary. In the years that have followed we've grown to service over 2,800 children in multiple schools and 4 counties
MACON OUTREACH
Since 1971, we have worked cooperatively with churches, area services, and volunteers to address the needs of those living in poverty in Central Georgia. During 2017, we served over 56,000 hot, nutritious meals from our Downtown Kitchen, over 7000 people in Bibb County received emergency groceries from our Grocery Pantry and over 1000 families received gently used clothing from our Clothing Closet. Macon Outreach is a great place to serve!

THE METHODIST HOME FOR CHILDREN & YOUTH
Founded in 1872, The Methodist Home provides care for children and families in need across South Georgia including a continuum of residential care (Children’s Homes), community foster homes, specialized treatment programs and counseling services to better serve our community.
DAYBREAK CENTER
Every weekday in Macon, an average of 100 homeless men and women visit Depaul USA Daybreak to receive services that help them overcome the immediate crisis of homelessness.
